Rhonda is a Nordic Walking Instructor having trained with Nordic Academy Australia.

Rhonda has a vast range of experience in the sporting industry including 5 yrs with the Australian Sports Commission based at the Australian Institute of Sport (Canberra) as a Project Officer with Sports, Camps and Reservations and National Sports Program, 5 yrs with the ACT Soccer Federation as senior administrator.

Rhonda's roles included Administration Manager Canberra Cosmos (National Soccer League), Project Manager Kanga Cup International Youth Soccer Tournament, FIFA World Youth Championships, Coca Cola Olyroos Four Nations Tournament, Millennium Sports Services initial development, management of the Quikstix School Hockey Tournament (ACT) and Manager of Crossroads Sporting Centre (Mildura, VIC).

Rhonda's individual sporting background included
 Approved Rider (Jockey)/Trackwork Rider (Racing NSW) from 1982 to 2004 (numerous premierships and unofficial World Record).
